We went metric on government highway jobs in NYS. It’s totally ridicululous because we wind up showing both systems. There’s a battle on. It’s absolutely stupid.

I knew a guy that took a job posting for his company in Switzerland.
He had his car shipped over, and among the things he had to fix to pass inspection was the speedometer having the BIG numbers in kph. They would not accept the smaller, dual markings.

Tennessee took all of their km signs down. Total waste of time.

I don't mind it at all. What if a foreign tourist from a country that uses metric drives on an American road unfamiliar with U.S. imperial speed limits (mph)?
A bit of hospitality would help? Anyone?
