Glenn Beck: Terror Threat to school buses and schools?

A short vanity here; hopefully someone can FILL me in! I just caught the end of Glenn Beck's show today (9/10/07)and he had some woman on whose hubby is a director of a middle size school district in the midwest.
Supposedly schools have been put 'on alert' that there is a threat (is it credible?) to busses and schools and they've been given guidelines as to what to look for.
Beck made it SOUND like it was possibly imminent, not just a routine "be aware that this could happen..." kind of thing.
Anyone have specifics? Or is Glenn just emphasizing this because we're on the brink of the 9/11 anniversary?
Wish I could provide more info, but like I said, I just caught the end of the show...RD

Yes, it is a possibility ala the attack in Beslin(sp). Listen or watch his probram on headline news this week. This relates to his perfect storm theory and those authors that frequent his show have war gamed this scenario....
AQ are barbaric and would like nothing more than to kill that which is most prscious to us, young children....

He’s been talking about that for a while. It has been on the internet (try and google “the perfect day” scenario—it’s similar to what happened in Breslan in Russia). I heard him say last week that his tv program on headline news will discuss it in more detail the first couple of days this week.

Muslims in the US including CAIR had better pay attention and do some house cleaning. These feelings are not uncommon at all.

Beck tends to overdramatize, but this scenario is certainly possible, knowing what the enemy is capable of.

I agree. Beck has established himself as an on-the-edge alarmist for ratings purposes. He should get a color-code system: light red alert, red alert, and dark red alert.

If a Beslan-like attack on an American school or school bus ever comes to be, then there won’t be a place within our borders where any muslim could hide. I would predict that places like Islamberg and others will simple be attacked by hordes of vigilantes and exterminated.

Considering the numbers of schools and school busses there are in this country, if anyone has any idea how to safeguard them......let’s hear it. And putting a few cops or (more likely) rent-a-cops in a few select busses and schools as a “Hey, we’re on top of it” photo-op solution does not count. Don’t worry though, one thing you can be sure of though, kids of VIP’s (which means everyone but you and I) in private schools will be taken care of.
