Fred is gonna slay the Hildabeast.

Yup, and it’s down to Rudy and Mitt. I think it’s going to be Mitt. Done right, it’ll come off as the youthful, operational-expert Mitt there to play designated COO while Fred is CEO and Chairman of the Board.

I honestly believe that all the other GOP contenders are now running for Vice President.
If it’s Fred as the nominee I prefer that he not choose a VP running mate from the list of candidates. I’m not that enthaused of another Washington insider being selected for that spot. I guess Romney and Giuliana aren’t D.C. insiders per se and do bring some executive experience to the table. I don’t see any of the others bringing anything to the ticket.

I agree. Thompson came across very well at the Iowa gathering that was just televised on CSPAN.

I saw CSPAN coverage also. First a re-run of the announcement speech he gave on the net, followed by his campaign stop in Iowa. It was great to watch! Looking forward to watching him in other televised campaign stops!

To me, Rudy or Mitt are too liberal to warrant getting on the Thompson Ticket.
The obvious VP is Duncan Hunter.
PERIOD.

Interested?
Because a man who opposes a Federal Marriage Amendment, the border fence, and tort reform is not even remotely close to what I'm looking for in a presidential nominee.
