Speaking of sit reps. I received this from a friend in Afghanistan 2 days ago:

Hope you're doing well. Things are still going strong here. I've been pretty busy, flying almost every day 3-7 hours. I got lucky just the other day, we took fire from a tree line on a mission with the British SAS and smoked the tree line with 30mm, HE & flechette rockets. Turned out a mid to high level Taliban commander bit the dust on that one.
