I should add to my last comment that Congressman Paul was always pro-life unlike any of the candidates leading him in the polls right now.

Paul is the only pro-life rep who consistently voted against every ban or restriction on abortion on Federal land and overseas military bases.
He voted against the Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004 — Laci and Conner’s Law and against the prenatal pain law.
He finally did vote for the partial birth abortion ban.

And I believe he is. My curiosity had to do with his connection to the Libertarian party, although there are some in the party that are pro-life like L4L.org, they are in the minority.
Registered Libertarian spokesmen from Browne to Boortz go on and on about "choice" in every facet of life, including abortion, so excuse me if I'm a bit skeptical.
However, you are right: Paul is more pro-life than Rudy and, perhaps, the other poll leaders.

I should add that abortion, euthanasia, and other life issues are certainly big issues with me, and that I don't accuse Rep. Paul of playing politics with that, just with being involved with a party that has been on the wrong side of life issues.
On other issues, yes, we would disagree vehemently, but this is not one of them.
