Dear Friends,
We all want to see Ron Paul as the next president of the United States. In order to get there, he will first have to win the Republican nomination. I have seen him state on television that he will not run as a third party candidate, so it is vital that he win the nomination. This article from Wikipedia outlines the Republican primaries schedule.
Why is this important? As alert reader Verbatim writes:
As you may realize, there are many people from across the spectrum planning to support Ron Paul: Libertarians, Constitutionalists, Green Party members, disenfranchised Democrats, and of course the disenfranchised Republicans.
Many of these people may not realize that they NEED to change party affiliations to Republican to vote in the GOP Primary in many States. I think this information is important to get out as is instructions on how to change ones' party affiliation and the DEADLINE for each State. I think this information would be useful on every Ron Paul supporter website in existence, even if it is simply linked to.
Thanks, Verbatim
This is the preliminary schedule...

Now read their plan for hijacking the official Republican nomination by directing anti-war & anti-America voters across the "fruited" plains to "change voter registrations to Republican" for the sole purpose of hijacking the Republican nomination process!
NO TRUE "CONSTITUTIONALIST" WOULD EVER USE SUCH TACTICS TO MANIPULATE A REPRESENTATIVE REPUBLIC!
WAKE UP RON PAUL MOONBATS!
Good grief.
Kool-aid ping
The Democrats and McCainiacs did the same thing to try and stop Bush in 2000. It didn’t work.
For you Paulists who aren’t Catholic priests, Moonbat is pronounced: Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonbaaaaaaaaat.
The Ron Paul morons wont wake up. They’ll flail around and make lots of noise, but in the end, I have a better chance of being president than “Dr.” Paul. He’s a joke candidate.

These guys are WAY too much fun...
In 2000, Democrats and MoveOn had Al Gore....
In 2008, even Hillary and Obama are right of Paul on national security and the war.
Paul’s primary support is now coming from MoveOn and Code Pink, left out in the cold by Democrats who promised to end the war in 2006 and have done nothing since.
2008 is a whole new ball game. If Ron Paul was running as a Libertarian Independent, as he should be, I would support that because he is drawing votes away from Democrats with his truly 60’s anti-war rhetoric.
But instead, he is running as a “republican” and directing liberal Democrats to switch party affiliations for the sole purpose of hijacking the Republican nomination....
The plot thickens!
I thought the idea was to get as many people as you can to support and convert to the republican party. I had no idea that it was a private party.
Frankly, this party was hijacked a long time ago by liberals and moderates.
Agreed...
But these tactics are NO joke!
Stop acting like he’s a serious threat.
He’s a nut
I’m not sure dailyPaul.com is an official Ron Paul site. Nevertheless, it shows exactly the insidious behavior of many of his followers.
But whether dailyPaul is an official site or not, if Ron Paul doesn’t denounce such efforts, he’s implicitly condoning them.
Make no mistake, the Ron Paul community is very serious about USING the GOP primary process to advance a candidate who’s views are outside core conservative values. If we want defeat in Iraq and on the World stage, Ron Paul is our man.
Not only that, but there must be quite a few Ron Paul supporters who have become freepers just to push their candidate. So the statistics are probably even worse than indicated by that member/non-member discrepancy.
Ron Paul is a useful gadfly in the House, but the thought of him as a presidential candidate is laughable.
McCain darned near beat Bush in the primaries because he had the entire press on his side, and the Democrat machine arranged massive Democrat voting for him in the Republican primaries, including a change of law in New York State just for that purpose. But those kinds of tricks won’t work for Paul. If they think they can manipulate the primary voters like the MSM and the Democrat machine, they are smoking something very strong.
So then lets invite in more to fix that...
If it is true of course...
Shrug. There is nothing wrong with a group of people changing party affiliation because they support a candidate in it. Probably millions of Democrats changed registration because they liked Reagan.
I think he is rejuvenating the party with new life. Neocon internationalists and anti-soveriegntist are not going to prevail in our party. The placatory baby killers and sanctuary folk need to be Democrats. Paul is resonating despite the mindless name calling that is the first line of defense for for children.
