As far as I know, sales were above expectations, with the initial stock selling out in a couple of days—quicker than anticipated.
Apple and AT&T both are making a killing on the iPhone.
Go stand in the corrected corner. Sales were on track to make 1,000,000 sales by the end of this month.
The iPhone got 1.8% of the market in July, and Apple was only hoping for 1%. I don't know how they're doing in any absolute number goal, but they've beat their percentage goal.
