If you really have been following his campaign and heard all of his responses and commentary on this and similar scenarios, you would have held your little academic critique of this man who is fighting an uphill battle.
Supporters who may have criticisms do not spray paint them on the wall for the world to see.
And the grow up comment was unwarranted--but I support your right to say it...
Like I said, if you really wanted him to win, you'd know that it was constructive criticism.

A thousand posts down a thread on FreeRepublic is not spray-painting on the wall. Further, it is obvious that Mr. Hunter is no Reagan as a communicator, yet. He could learn to be one in his own way, but he has a long way to go there. He's never going to be as glib as Rudy or as slick as Romney, and shouldn't aspire to be. He has to find a way to improve on his own style and from what I can see, he is getting better. Making a suggestion on how to improve does not disparage his standing here. Further, I seriously doubt that had I called the Hunter campaign or sent them an email they would had heard a word of it.
So if your belief is that we should all be jumping up and down with pom-poms, "leave it to the professionals" that I've seen botch God only knows how many campaigns, and never say a contrary word, fuggetaboudit.
And the grow up comment was unwarranted--but I support your right to say it...
Oh you great judge and jury of all probity and strategy, grow up.
