It also has to do with bad (self indulgent) leadership IMO. I agree with your premise though.My tagline use to be : "People get the leaders they deserve"..

I pretty much agree. It is hard to imagine anyone actually deserving some of our world leaders though. Your premise that folks vote in the idiots is valid. (At least I think that’s what your point is.)
