"This will bring more equal opportunities to the students of Emerson," said Jessica Ganon, a junior at Emerson who campaigned with fellow students to get the school to provide the gender-neutral bathrooms. "I am much happier that this makes life easier for others. I felt sorry for those who felt unsure of where to go."

I had to read that last sentence a couple times before I realized that a college student actually said it. How can anyone not know where to go? One is either a man or a woman. Just because one "feels" like the opposite sex or wants to be the opposite sex, does not make them the opposite sex. The Founding Fathers must be rolling over in their graves that our country is pandering to this immorality.

As a woman, I would not feel safe or want to use a "gender neutral" restroom or lockerroom unless it is only a one person. I know there will be guys that are in there to sneak a peak at a woman going the restroom or getting changed. Also, I think it is more hygenic to have a bathroom and lockerroom for each sex. I also would hate to live in a house with guys and girls at college. I wouldn't feel comfortable.
