Detroit: Anti-Jewish, anti-Christian fliers found on cars

Police said anti-Jewish and anti-Christian fliers were found on cars parked in a lot on the northwest corner of 15 Mile and Ryan roads.
Sterling Heights police Detective Sgt. Paul Jesperson said three separate complaints were filed by residents Tuesday who found the fliers on their windshields.
He said the flier said: “Kill Jews and Christians if they don’t believe in Allah and Mohammad.”
It further advises people to “Fight those who do not believe.””

“Alberta St. Neighborhood Upset Over Graffiti”

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “Neighbors and business owners along Portland’s Northeast Alberta Street are angry about hate graffiti in their area.
Vandals sprayed graffiti on restaurants, shops and even a community church on Northeast Alberta Street from 22nd to 28th avenues sometime Friday night.
The owner of Francis Restaurant, Christopher Pierce, said this is the second time in a year he’s had to deal with this kind of vandalism. The first instance was against gentrification and this one was anti-Semitic.
“Anytime you write ‘Jews’ on something, it’s going to mean something. It has to mean something,” said Pierce.”
