Actually, that one can't be attributed to the Founders. Washington set precedent by serving only 2 terms. There was nothing in The Constitution regarding presidential term limits.

We may need another amendment to get some new blood in and get rid of the family dynasty attempts. If Clinton is elected for 2 terms, there will have been a Bush/Clinton in the administration for 36 continuous years:

Bush1 Presidency 1989-1993
Clinton1 Presidency 1993-2000
Bush2 Presidency 2000-2009

We do need some new blood, but the best way to accomplish that is through elections. Did you know that since 1952, there has been a Bush, Nixon, or Dole on every Republican ticket except 1964?

Ironically, there is little press being given to the continued Oligarchy we live under (Bush-Bush-Bush-Clinton-Clinton-Bush-Bush-Clinton...?).

The public has had it with both families. Look at it closed and you’ll find a small pool of Yalies who went to school around the same time.
