“Hey Dave. You don’t have to clock the carts today. You’re going deep undercover in the men’s john.”

That fact alone does not prove he is gay.

Never said it did.

It also does not prove he ever had sex with a woman.

I am not arguing per say whether or not he is guilty. I have no idea. I have reservations about how this case was handled. I am very much for police and very much against public indecency of any sort. However, I also know that sometimes the police are over zealous, and that people can get caught up in the moment, especially if they have reason to fear the consequences and are not thinking clearly. We don’t all handle pressure well (which may make someone a poor senator, but that’s not what I’m arguing).
I don’t read anything in the transcript that makes me certain he did intentionally did what the officer says he did. I’m also not certain that pleading guilty to disorderly conduct under duress makes someone guilty of soliciting sex.
So, while I probably do agree with you most of the time, since you’re clearly a Freeper, on this one, I am unconvinced that Craig is guilty of more than buckling under in an effort to make something that might harm his career go away.
And, the bottom line is none of us was there, so all we have to go on is this transcript and some he said/she said.

I noticed you didn't answer the question addressed to you in #171.

Why not?

They are humans, and as such there will be the bad and the wonderful. And most in between.

[Are you suggesting]

Amazing.

Either way, he lied.

He thought his business card could save him. He apparently thought he was above the law and now he’s shocked to be finding out otherwise.

Obviously there must be some vast left wing conspiracy at work. /sarc

[DK: Embarrassing, embarrassing. No wonder why we’re going down the tubes....]

Yes, Sgt Karsnia, it certainly is and we certainly are.

I was in that airport a year ago with my family on vacation.

So Charlie Mike, Sir. Your efforts are appreciated.

“are so willing to throw him under the bus without so much as a chance to clear his throat”

I don’t think there was anything in his throat, at least not this time.

The only thing I find offensive is that you insist on spouting *facts* which you will not in any way support. I’m a health and biology teacher, so I understand perfectly well exactly how babies are conceived. In addition, I breed dogs. Males can indeed be infertile, and I assure you that it’s not only 1% of the time. It has nothing to do with being a man or a women. It’s basic biology. You seem pretty married to the idea that it must be the woman though, so perhaps you have an issue. I don’t know (altho I do have a minor in psychology.)

I just brought this up to show that almost 100% of the time when a couple cannot have kids, it almost always is because the woman is infertile! Why is this so offensive?

my wife just told me that when a couple cannot have kids 70% of the time it's because the woman is infertile, 30% of the time it's because of the male. not that it matters, i just saw your conversation and figured i'd ask if she knew.

No issues with him. He just loves to use the word sperm over and over again!

absolutely.

imho, this cop got more than he bargained for. do you think he enjoys these types of operations? they are trying to curb this type of behavior. the best way to do that is to hammer the location hard and arrest everyone. then, the location will get a lot of negative buzz by word of mouth and the internet and people will avoid the location.

you have successfully dealt with that particular condition and someone else has to deal with it. they know these people aren't "criminals" but the quality of life issue needs to be dealt with.

so you get them all to plead down to DIS CON and you'll never see them again. problem solved.

but then you get a high profile offender and your methods are scrutinized and held up to the legal lamp, which can burn pretty hot.

bottom line for me: deft wanted gay sex. got caught in a shotty, hodge-podge operation.

imho, the cops should have called a big supervisor to the scene and made it all go away on the spot. the cops do have discretion in cases like this one. should have let this guy go but let him go after a very long lecture that scared the daylights out of him.

We are screwed...We have become the Romans...

But I did find this humorous:

DK: Okay, sir. We deal with people that lie to us everyday.

LC: I'm sure you do.

DK: I'm sure you do to sir.

LC: And gentleman so do I.

Thank you. I suspected someone would have the statistics on hand, and I was pretty sure I knew who it wasn’t....

I'm not taking sides here, but something is fishy with the police officer, IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if Craig was targeted.

I wonder if Craig, Foley, Livingstone, etc. were part of the FBI files Mrs. clinton still has. I wonder if the arresting officer is a democRAT.

Well, I don't wonder about Sen. Craig, he's outta control. Look for some kind of rehab stint for him soon.
