Suggest that we agree as a nation to reparations. Reparations are legally based on damages or on restoring the damaged property to its original condition. Why not let any in the African diaspora ( a description by the way 'borrowed' from the Jewish people in the diaspora according to the Old Testament who have slave reparation claims minimally dating to the Pharaohs [pyramids] pre-Christian era, then the Babylonians (Iraq) then the Persians (Iran) followed by the Greeks and the Romans - New Testament)* choose between the value of restoration to original condition i.e., a slave to a black slave master in Africa circa 1700 or the value of damages which in any objective analysis based on today's better-offness are negative?

*How else do you get the black minstrel singing "When Moses was in Egypt land, let my people go."?

Also as a possible descendant of Egyptian slaves, I would also like to petition for 'reparations' and jump on the money train, like (forgive me) 'white on rice.'

Some have even said that since some blacks claim that ancient Egypt was a black civilization, and that Jewish slaves were used to build the pyramids, then blacks should pay reparations to the Jews.

Well, I do think the Democrat Party should pay reparations, since they were at the forefront of preserving slavery, implementing Jim Crow and opposing desegregation. Not to mention that the entire membership of the KKK was made up of Democrats.
