I agree with you too. His “track record” is embarassing, however, I don’t consider him a fraud. He’s never said anything theological that I disagree with.
I just posted this as food for thought.

You mean, aside from the fact that he believes he receives special revelations from God? A spiritual gift that has not authentically been witnessed as true since the 1st century church was established?
Prophecy (as foretelling) is no longer an active spiritual gift; it ended once the church was established and authenticated by the Apostles.
Prophecy (as forth-telling - ie, witnessing to the lost) still is commanded, however.
God’s will is already revealed in the totality of His Word. He has nothing new to tell us until Christ returns.

I suspect you may have misunderstood my intended meaning. What I was attempting to say is that it did not appear that he was saying God told him what he was saying but rather it was his thought. If he doesn’t have a specific word from God then that is appropriate. As far as his theology, I believe I’ve heard some elements that I disagree with from him (although I’d have to research it to be more specific), but that had nothing to do with my post.
