Ron Paul Dominates Non-partisan Straw Poll

Washington D.C. 8/27/2007 5:20 PM GMT (FINDITT - Top Story)

USAElectionPolls.com has an audience of about 67,000 visitors per month according to the latest statistics by Quantcast -- making it the most visited polling website with the exception of RealClearPolitics. The web site has been having an online straw poll for three days on voters' preference for the 2008 election; both Democrats and Republicans are listed.

Ron Paul is leading the group of almost 20 candidates with 51%. Even more impressive is that he currently has 1744 votes while the second place candidate Dennis Kucinich has 613 votes -- 18%. Ron Paul leads the next closest Republican competitor in the online poll 51% to 3%.

Ordinarily, very little can be made of such results. They could be flukes. The web site's target audience could be Ron Paul, etc. But USAElectionPolls.com gets an immense amount of traffic all across the United States and it is a non-partisan website that talks about all of the candidates.

The poll is still open and can be found on the front page.

Not nearly enough to feed all the jackasses who support him.

Jim Condit, Jr is a Ron Paul supporter. He believes 9/11 was an 'inside job'. He believes it was a Zionist conspiracy. There are others like him who support Ron Paul.

And ergo, that makes Paul a 9/11 truther/anti-Israelist, right?

I'd post Petronski's laughing dog here but he'll probably have a nervous breakdown.

Re-enroll back in elementary school and read history.

The French did NOT win the Revolutionary War. America won the war, in part with the aid of the French. Or are you Paulistas so un-American you can't even admit the truth about that war?

Tell you what. You fund your own random-sampling polling with a reputable polling company asking "if the election were held today, who would you vote for" with a list of all candidates. Sample a 1000; sample 10,000 if you want. Choose the days and times. Feel free to moniter the results. Do it for each state. I guaran-damn-tee you Ron Paul will not get 50-plus percent of the vote in any state, and Kucinich will not be the top vote-getter of the Democrats.

When the actual votes come in the primaries and Ron Paul doesn't get come anywhere close to winning the primary, the only vote that really matters, will there be more cries of fraud?

I never said they did. I said without their help we'd be speaking the Queen's English.

You can't support Ron Paul. Don't you know he blames mom and apple pie for 9/11?

And he wants our troops to come home from Iraq by swimming through the Suez Canal and across the Atlantic while wearing shark bait.

And he forced passage of a bill that gave $30 trillion of your tax dollars to an antisemitic shrimp farmer.

And he personally endorsed Osama Bin Laden for Vice President.

And he's a Nazi. A space Nazi.

</sarc>

That should about cover most of the "content" of this thread. I've just saved the Paul-bashers all the time they would have otherwise spent writing and the pro-Pauls all the time they'd have had to spend reading and replying!

I never stated he was. You replied "No, we don't" to the question whether his supporters believe 9/11 was an inside job. My response was that your statement "No, we don't" to that particular question was untruthful. There ARE Ron Paul supporters who are Truthers.

If you can't be honest, then you aren't worth anyone's time.

Anyone who does not understand that for Ron Paul to win any poll with 52%, (other than a high school yearbook poll of “Most Likely To be Laughed In A Topless Bar”) they used an autologger, should not be allowed out in traffic.

Oh, my God! Will Western civilization survive this breach of protocol over graphics stolen from a second-rate koolaid company?

Petr, I'm very very disappointed.

My goodness, what a bold agenda! Now I'm left wondering if I need to ping the Ron Paul Pinglist to read all the latest.

I must say, that contribution really does make this a Breaking News thread.

Here's my counter, counter, counter proposal.

Have the same sample of people register their cell phone numbers or email addresses and have a reputable polling firm ask them who would they support for President. Guarantee you Paul would be right up in the top three.

Obsolete polling methods currently being pushed by the socialist media and trumpeted as gospel by myopic FReepers, who just a few years ago applied the Barf Alert to these very same polls when the results didn't favor their beloved President Bush means that I would rather trust an online poll in which the wording of the question is clear and objective & the results instantaneously over some stupid poll produced by a low-level slacker doodling cartoons during his break in the New York Times building.
