ALAMO, Texas -- Federal agents acting on a tip found 58 illegal immigrants of various nationalities crowded in a single-story residence, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Friday.
Agents on Thursday found 15 women and 43 men, of which there were 33 Mexicans, 19 Brazilian, three Hondurans, two Salvadorans and one Peruvian.
The illegal immigrants were taken to the agency's Weslaco station pending formal removal back to their home countries.

I'm not so sure that Coulter's idea would turn things around. In fact, it might make things worse, as (a) sympathetic judges either rule in the illegals' favor or make concessions and "compromise rulings" for them, (b) whole new activist organizations spring up overnight, championing the cause of "fair pay for undocumented workers" and threatening to sue employers who don't go along, and the ACLU will get in on it too, (c) it grows into being a dreaded "controversial national issue," where previously it was not in the minds of Americans or even of many illegals.
See this.
Or this.
I hope I'm wrong.

ACLU gets into anything and you will lose. You might be right. I think what she thinks is that it will scare business away from hiring illegals. You would have to grandfather the law somehow to make it have effect. you would have to make it say something like, from this day forward, illegals can sue business....
I would think.

Via means ‘way’ so it can be applied to a road. Sendero also means ‘way’.

Sorry OldBill you are wrong.
The scenario you laid out is a lie. You shouldn’t be so gullible as to believe that kind of bunk.
Sub-prime mortages are failing because first time buyers took on home loans that they were not qualified for.
They a-greed to obligations they could not meet.
There is no great batch of sub-prime borrowers that are
dependent on illegals to make their payment.

Those links are the demoratic answer to Ann’s call for suing business for not paying fair wages. They should never be allowed to sue because they were replaced or injured. That has to be a liberal idea. I am sure Ann would not support such a position.

I’m not sure what takes me aback more when I look at those photos...the sheer numbers....or the fact that we were blind-sided. Until I saw those imagines in my tv screen during the first protest, I had no idea it was in the works. How did that many numbers of people plan and carry off such a feat without us catching wind of it?

There are an estimated 34 to 38 million illegal aliens living in the U. S. Of course we cannot round up and deport this many over a weekend. But we should immediately begin to deport those we can find. Most are out in the open and make no attempt to hide. The welfare people could locate millions who are plugged into the welfare and Social Security benefits rolls. Gangs of illegals stand around street corners and empty lots waiting to be hired for day labor.. Schools, hospitals and prisons are full of illegal aliens. As we deport them the word will get out and maybe it will slow down the flow of illegal aliens over the bonders every night.
In time, it might take years, all illegal aliens can be found and deported. It would be cheaper than supporting 34 million and growing. And it would save our civilization from going the route of past great civilizations who were overwhelmed and destroyed by great demographic shifts of have nots to more civilized countries.

Why I left Lost Angeles. Now you're in Arizona?
Ouch!
Phoenix Arizona last year (2006) when hundreds of thousands marched on Phoenix making demands and threats.

Of course she wouldn't! My purpose for including those links was to show how Coulter's idea that if illegals started suing for equal market value, then everything would turn around overnight and mass deportations would soon follow, is a flawed one. I think it more likely would result in the scenario I outlined, and those links were intended as signs that I am probably right. Coulter might have just been joking when she made that suggestion, but regardless, I don't think it stands up to critical analysis.

Oh, it was known ahead of time, at least in Los Angeles. The police made plans for it, streets were blocked off hours before the event, and company memos circulated in L.A. business days ahead of time warning employees to take alternate routes to work.

I could probably squeeze 30 renters like that into my house and maybe make $6,000 per month. And your neighbors would rightfully string you up. :^)
