Be On Notice, Hillary: Momma Obama Don’t Take No Mess

The prominent and combative roles Michelle Obama and Elizabeth Edwards play in their respective husbands’ campaigns send an overt message to each other and Team Clinton: Don’t go messing with my man. More pragmatic political considerations lie hidden in the vitriol from these desperate-for-the-White House wives.
At a “Women for Obama” rally last week in Chicago, Michelle Obama condemned those who question if Barack is “black enough” to call himself black. Michelle Obama stated, “What are we saying to our children if a man like Barack Obama isn’t black enough? Then who is? Who are they supposed to be?”
She added, “We are messing with the heads of our children.”
Later, the claws were out for Hillary Clinton when Michelle Obama said, “If you can’t run your own house, you certainly can’t run the White House.”
The August issue of The Progressive features a profile of Elizabeth Edwards, and claims that Elizabeth “is winning audiences with her warm, straight-shooting style.” Fire-breathing is apparently the new warm.

Michelle Obama and Liz Edwards have more balls than their men. They are torpedoing their husbands' campaigns with these catty remarks, though. THIS year the dems have been taken over by the "ladies".....and not in a good way.
That may be, but any sharp attack on Hillary from Obama and Edwards runs the risk of the accusation of beating up on a girl. If Hillary were a man, I think the candidates themselves would do it.

well, that’s old hat thinking. She is a candidate and up there on the stage with the men where she’s always wanted to be and if people can’t see that then that is their problem. hilllereee is not exempt from everything that the rest of the candidates have to hear. If she can’t stand the heat she can get the heck out of the kitchen. No whining about “I’m a girl...or I’m a woman...or “I’m a female.” If you wanna break the glass ceiling as they say then you take the hits like the rest of the men on the stage.
It may be old hat thinking, and I certainly don’t think she would complain about it. Heavens no! The media will do the work for her. She knows it, they know it, we all know it.
Yeh....I saw the Lazio farce...where Hillary turned into a little girl...to make her point. She’s the original VIllage mommy, daddy and baby all in one.
This is going to be an incredibly racist election cycle. Just the title of the article is ridiculous.
She will NOT be able to duck out of real debate as she did in NY.........they may give her a pass and a pity vote for Senator, but NOT for President. ....I hope.

HIllary has obviously been taking speech lessons....but the real message is still there...she's a communist by choice and we will pay the consequence.
Cheney vs Edwards was pretty good too.
It was the debates which made me give my vote to Bush “without any reservation”. And I’d do it again!
The two helpmeet harpies are beginning to be more than an annoyance.
