Thanks for your imput. I appreciate it.

Why should they? There is a resolution to this, but some people don’t want to take action that will solve their own problem. Instead they want others to do it for them. Please, give it a rest.
I'm on rate-restricted dial-up, and to go full-rate dialup would cost me a second phone line or maybe a fleet-up to ISDN at a minimum; and broadband would also be more expensive. We all have budgets to manage and means to budget.

Movement over the last 48 minutes due west (270 degrees) at 22 mph.The only thing it could do better than that is do a 180 and go visit Chavez.
To: SouthTexas
That would be a 90. ‘Tis a very small sample; too small to rely on.

What you said! Amen (The notion of living within our means sometimes escapes those who don’t worry or understand about it’s origins)

I was thinking it was past Venzuela, but a 180 would send it back to Jamaica and they sure don't need that!
Just a simple go fast and turn left. :)
To: 1COUNTER-MORTER-68
Mexico City is already sinking, don’t think they need any more water. :)

I am reading a lot of “no way” 100% sure Dean is going to Mexico posts. So what do yall think Governor Perry should do with all of the military and equipment at our airport? Should he call it off or go ahead with the voluntary evacuation..just in case?
To: SouthTexas
Would be nice, especially since it doesn't look like we'll see racing tomorrow either.
Let me fire up Google Earth. You're right; it would be a 150 from that westward wobble and 160 from the 280 baseline.

Do you think it would be funny for a hurricane to kill Venezuelans? Who are you to wish destruction on another?

Should he call it off or go ahead with the voluntary evacuation..just in case? About how long would it take to complete the voluntary evac? I'd say, "Watch and wait," for right now.

I think an evac would be excessive. Too many dry runs is what gets people complacent.
Voluntary-sure, mandatory-no.

CLP5 doesn’t look like a hit on New Orleans but rather a hit on the Galveston-Houston areas, sort of like The 1900 Storm, but from a different angle.

I think it would be a whole hell of a lot better than killing Texans!
You are free to chose your own allies.
To: steveegg
They have to make a decision tomorrow. We are talking about many nursing homes and hospitals in addition to people at home with special needs.
To: SouthTexas
Oh, and they are talking about 135000 people.
