I am reading a lot of “no way” 100% sure Dean is going to Mexico posts. So what do yall think Governor Perry should do with all of the military and equipment at our airport? Should he call it off or go ahead with the voluntary evacuation..just in case?

Should he call it off or go ahead with the voluntary evacuation..just in case? About how long would it take to complete the voluntary evac? I'd say, "Watch and wait," for right now.

I think an evac would be excessive. Too many dry runs is what gets people complacent.
Voluntary-sure, mandatory-no.

He's being judicious. There's a reason he's worried.
Who knows? Maybe he has better data than NHC.
This latest NOAA water vapor loop in the last frame shows dean glancing up at the GOM ULL which is not moving west, regardless of what the NHC guys say.
