There is a reporter named Jayna Davis though who says John Doe #2 is not Jose Padilla. I can't remember who she says it is. She has written a book called the Third Terrorist. I haven't read the book yet but keep saying I need to go buy it. I just know the picture of the guy she says it is, doesn't look like the sketch to me. You might find this thread interesting. Yep, I’ve read that book, it is EXCELLENT!!! I very highly recommend it. (I found it myself in a thrift store right after the OU Bombing when she and I corresponded briefly in relation to that event.) I would like to get the updated version as mine is a 1st run copy, and she has added a little to the second version.

I agree with you. I found some info as I was looking on another FR thread which explained the sensory deprivation Padilla was subjected to which, basically, caused severe psychological damage. I hate to say it, but there are serious grounds for appeal.

I’ve read isolated snippets from DU over the years, but never actually bothered to get on the site and take a thread in in one big swallow.
