Not giving us their “ID’s” is the same thing as telling us that they are four followers of Mohammad and that none of them were Caucasians. If they were white guys this would have been a breaking news ALERT on every single news network on the planet.

What started as a traffic stop on a gold Nissan Sentra early this morning led to the discovery of two pipe bombs,

These so called traffic stops

Too many coincidences for them not to be the result of tips etc

Each was wrapped in duct tape and had a fuse.

Are duct tape sales up in these places.
Used for bomb making and robbing banks lately.
LOL

Any US bases nearby?

I am not familiar with the area. Cape Canaveral is about 100 miles up the coast, but I wouldn't call that "nearby".

NYPD releases report on homegrown terror

"The report, by the NYPD's intelligence and counterterrorism divisions and titled "Radicalization in the West and the Homegrown Threat," was discussed during a conference of law enforcement and security officials headed by Police Commissioner Ray Kelly at Police Headquarters in Lower Manhattan. ... It concludes that the September 11th attacks were an "anomaly" and the most serious terror threat to the country comes from clusters of "unremarkable" individuals who are on a path that could lead to homegrown terror. ... The report focuses on "the trajectory of radicalization" and tracks the path of a non-radicalized individual to an individual with the willingness to commit an act of terror. ... "The threat is real; this is not some bogey man we are creating here," said Rand Corporation terrorism expert Brian Jenkins, who reviewed and contributed to the NYPD report. "There are individuals who are proselytizing, inciting angry young men to go down this path."

This is getting routine. Indeed, put “pipe bomb” into this website’s search box and see what comes up. Lots from 2006, and mostly in TX.

By the way, where’s Boynton Beach?

“I don’t know. This is pretty run of the mill stuff for the crud that infects Florida.”

HEY! There are plenty of good people here you are disparaging.

Round 1—Caught
Round 2—Caught

Again a Florida connection, what is up? Something is in the pipeline...(pun not so lightly intended).

We only need to miss one.

Isn't this the 2nd bunch caught traveling north with pipe bombs? I wonder why?

Let me speculate.

If there was a sizeable terrorist incident maybe these guys are suppose to harrass the evacuees/refugees and generally cause havoc after the major incident.(?)

Now, I do happen to believe all these guys have been under survellience and the local/state police have been 'tipped' to find a reason to stop them.

Those of you who live along any evacuatation routes may want to keep your eyes 'peeled' for this sort of harrassing activity after any incident. You could find yourself on the front lines.

North of Miami on the East coast of Florida.

Well, back in about 83-85 some friends and I went through our firecracker making phase. No way we would do it now, but back then we had some things in our car with fuses that could knock the wind out of you at a dozen paces. We used duct tape though, at least we were smart enough not to ever make anything that would spray fragments. We thought that fact would keep us out of trouble with the cops.

Gee, isn't ignorance bliss?

If none of the 4 had any ID, I can understand why police aren’t releasing their names.
What I don’t understand is why one of them readily admits it’s a pipe bomb, but won’t give a name.
Maybe another dry run?
