>>>the International Seabed Authority would be empowered to regulate the usage of seven-tenths of the earths surface.
Is that in the revised treaty? I’ve seen much of the original one; but I’ve not had the chance to read the revised one yet.
Congressman Hunter,
You’re the best man for the job, I just wish you could register in the polls.
I sent your campaign $ but never received so much as an email follow up.
Please start campaigning like you mean it. We need you.
IF there was ever a man for stomping out sovereignty usurping agreements, he is running for President in 2008!
I don’t blame Teddy for that.
He has been working his tail off. Alas, he has a day job too. But he is getting real traction in the grassroots.
Good luck with your campaign, Sir. I hope that you will stand up and stand with conservatives to keep this country out of the hands of the socialists and super-libs on the Democrat side of the aisle.
We are honored to have you with us here on Free Republic, where there is always open debate and freedom of speech!
“He will indeed. He had alot of fun doing it.”
I am delighted to read that. I found the discussion/press conference well worth the time I spend on it.
However, I did get to read all of Congressman Hunter’s responses, and I am as impressed as ever.
For anyone who would like to read all of his posts made today, here’s a link - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/user-posts?id=283415
I hope we will be able to ask more questions. Given the recent national exposure of FreeRepublic by the MSM,I think speaking here was a great public relations move.
We FReepers need to get the word to the local and national newspapers and TV stations.
Thank you, ‘pissant’,for all you’ve done! And thanks to all of the other ‘Hunter’s Rangers’!
Yes, it only took him a couple hours of his time to answer the original questions and to come on line for an hour. Yet this is ricocheting in cyberspace.
I got the chance to meet him before the meeting and to shake this great man's hand! I didn't get to talk to him about FR or this afternoon's web conversation but I GOT TO SHAKE HIS HAND!!!!! :^)
We missed ya. You still have time to ask a question. I’m gathering them up to send to him. :o)
Cool. You were supposed to say hi for Pissant though. LOL
Actually, I talked to him at length today, so I feel pretty fortunate.
Avec plaisir! Thank YOU for the wonderful interview!
Good. Here’s my question -
Congressman Hunter,
It’s painfully apparent that the current immigration system is unworkable. It is also clear that as long as Mexican government does nothing to improve their economy and living conditions, Mexicans will continue to cross the border in search of a better life.
My questions to you are -
Would you favor improving the legal immigration system, so that it doesn’t take a decade to become a legal immigrant? And how would you do it?
What would you do, as President, to help Mexico help itself improve their current situation, without hurting American business or burdening American taxpayers?
I understand he could not respond to all questions, but I sincerely appreciate Congressman Hunter giving us the time he did, and you guys setting it up.
I honestly feel Hunter would be an outstanding leader, and a very needed change.
This man is the only one that I would trust to run this country! I only wish I could vote for his son (I got to also meet his wife and daughter in law!) but I'm not in that district (I'm in Bilbray's)
He will answer a bushel of the unaddressed questions in the coming weeks. I will post his replies. Sam Hunter is leading that up.
excellent!
Bilbray is no chopped liver, IMO.
