Sinners who dont repent are not accorded the same rewards as sinners who do. Then why did the church take the trouble to find out that the man was homosexual before they made the offer to hold the service? Mt. Sinclair's family didn't make any secret of it and it would have saved them from having to withdraw the offer once they found out.

Officials at the nondenominational High Point Church knew that Cecil Howard Sinclair was gay when they offered to host his service, said his sister, Kathleen Wright. But after his obituary listed his life partner as one of his survivors, she said, it was called off. Where does it say they took the trouble to determine the man's sexual preference? Their employee probably told them that at some point, but the family left out that he had a homosexual lover up to his death. It seems that the family was remiss, not the church officials.
