I am writing about an issue that concerns me greatly. I reside in Southern MN and, like everyone in this area, was shocked and saddened by the recent tragedy that has occurred in Minneapolis. The Phelps Family of the Westboro Baptist Church (or "WBC") in Topeka, KS, the same who picketed funerals of fallen soldiers back from Iraq, plans to picket the funerals of the victims of the bridge collapse. I am severely outraged at this disrespectful display of hate, and I am certain that others would feel the same way were they to know of these plans. I am telling you this in hopes that this will be made public, and that others will be inspired to take legal and respectful action to deter any additional trauma to the families of these victims. A friend of mine belongs to a patriotic motorcycle riders group. I am not sure of their name. However, one of their activities is to volunteer to escort military funerals (at family’s request). They surround the gravesite with a flag line, thus providing a physical and visual barrier in order to spare the family from having to see these ridiculous protesters.

I don’t believe God takes kindly to people that blame him for acts of Satan. (What i was taught anyway). God does and will punish.
Fred Phelps and his ridiculous church are really reaching a new low, even for them. I can only imagine what they have planned next.
These people are going to get themselves killed, and it will be considered justiifiable.

One really has to wonder whether these idiots really feel this way, or are they operatives for the Left, seeking to discredit Conservatives for their views on this issue? Perhaps only their leader knows their true agenda. I know, people will say Occam’s Razor, tinfoil hats, etc., but you really have to wonder.

Unless you yourself are not a Christian. Then consult your own faith's tenets for the proper attitude to take.

Governor Pawlenty should pre-emptively announce that he will pardon anybody who attacks these subhumans.
