T'wit, FReeper extraordinaire, has died.
self | August 5, 2007 | 8mmMauser

Posted on 08/05/2007 3:55:55 AM PDT by 8mmMauser

A great FReeper and close friend passed. T’wit, also known as Timothy Wheeler passed on. In tribute, I would like to make this the August thread of Terri Dailies, the topic foremost in T’wit thoughts.

Tim was a man of great faith, a faith that grew stronger especially in recent months. As I type this, I still am not yet coherent, as I try to awaken and sip a good coffee brought to me recently by Tim. In his usual fashion, he probably figured I would appreciate a little care package and would appreciate the better quality than the usual fare we would fix.

But I do not want this thread to be maudlin, nor a reminiscing on anecdotes, rather a stab at what Tim would want.

T’wit was passionate about the beauty of nature, of good books, good music, and intellectual challenge, but mostly he was passionate about his love for our America, for Jim Robinson’s FreeRepublic, and for our fight for those in the plight of Terri Schiavo. For the latter, he sought justice and fervently hoped and prayed we on Terri’s List would carry on this battle against the evils of those who would control who lived and died.

In our many talks, he would sound like a poster boy for all the stated position of Jim Robinson.

His wife told me last evening the final thoughts he had. As can be expected, it was for us to continue our fight as we have done already. She hoped that rather than flowers or donations sent, that donations be directed at causes like that supporting Terri’s Legacy, the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation. In this way, we remember him and further his wishes. T’wit and I talked a lot about faith and I can reassure all, his faith in Our Lord was strong and growing stronger, a comfort to me that he carried it to the end.

My words come out with difficulty this morning, but should flow better later, although without the word play and banter we would sometimes engage, at least for now. T’wit would be upset if I quit the puns for long, though.

We will continue our prayers for T'wit and his wife and family.

8mm

I know it’s been brought up many times, but maybe slavery should be allowed in one state, but not another.

I’d like to know our politicians response to that.

The balcony widower bares a slight resemblance to you know who. Mean HINOS always look angry and and misunderstood. He just wanted to off her. I would wonder how long they’d lived at a condo with a balcony? If not long, it was pre-meditated and was not 2nd degree or manslaughter.

Alcoholics do not get SSD. Do drug addicts? I didn't think so. Does this person also have mental illness or a systemic disorder that she doesn't talk about?

When SSD quit covering alcoholics, detox centers filled up cuz the alcheys knew they would have to go back to work.

Victims of Law has TERRI ARCHIVES, etc. The first time I heard Judge Greer was going to kill an innocent woman was about four years ago on August 28th, 2003.

Pst 274 is imo, MORE LIES. Terri was doing well at Mediplex in Bradenton, Fl AFTER the electrode implanted in California. Mikey violated the rules taking Terri out of Florida to go to Cali.

IMO, she was doing too well and that was when he cut off all rehab. That was when the neglect started, after she began to show promise. Judge Greer DEFERRED always to Mikey. There has to be another party that Greer was protecting that Mikey had the goods on.

"Had Terri Schiavo lived another 28 months, the latest medical breakthrough may have bolstered the hopes of those who defended her life."

They would have kept trying to kill her until they succeeded. The bad guys would have hidden her at hospice forever.

She was robbed, kidnapped and murdered, all sponsored by the state of Florida.

Your 282 drives the bad guys crazy. I mean, the attorney-lurkers for Mikey. They weren’t aware of a Terri Schiavo Day and wanted “proof” of Mediplex success and Terri’s Day. Even silver tongued devils like the death cult lawyers who took her money and arranged her murder don’t know everything.

I bet you Mikey kept the money raised on Terri Schiavo Day. Maybe that was when he first realized he could exploit her and make money off of dear Terri.

That $1575 was his first piece of the pie imo. Terri was making progress at the time. He liked exploiting for cash, cut off rehabilitation and met up with Debra Bushnell and began working on getting the rest of the pie. (and remember there was no life insurance. sure there wasnt).

Well I just had Mr. Owl come take a look at this, and he thinks the meth pushed the envelope, so to speak regarding the person who I was talking about. Too bad. I saw their wedding pics. She was a nice looking woman....

“I believe there was a split in the Constitution
Party over the refusal of a Mormon Nevada candidate
to disavow his position that children conceived
in rape are worthy of the death penalty - bad seed.”

Interesting. I wish I knew more. My husband and I used to be committee persons for the NYS RTL Party, and the RTL Party and Constitution Party toyed with the idea of merging.

Thank you.

Hailey Gonzalez, Requiescant in Pace.

When does a psychopath like this mom ever feel remorse for what she did? Unless she messed up her hair or damaged her nails during that time, the Twelfth of Never comes to mind. I try to bear in mind what T'wit would say and suppose he might suggest a miraculous change is possible right up through the Eleventh of Never. So I grudgingly agree we are not the final judges, as that is the province of God.

After a brutal 21-month-long life, Hailey Gonzalez found peace yesterday in a Staten Island cemetery.

Her mother, though, deserves none, according to the girl's paternal grandmother.

"I'd like to see her get what she deserves," Sonia Cintron said of Marlene Medina, 24. "If you ask me, 15 years to life would be appropriate."

Cintron, who had just laid a pink rose on Hailey's tiny white coffin at Resurrection Cemetery on Staten Island, added, "I hope [Medina] really, really feels some type of remorse because I don't think she has at this point."

Hailey finally at peace in Staten Island grave

Sed libera nos a malo... But deliver us from evil. It happens again to another victim.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- An investigation into the sudden death of a 2-month-old Port Richmond boy in May took a shocking turn yesterday, when his 21-year-old father was accused of sexually abusing the baby before killing him.

Three months after his son was found dead inside his Jewett Avenue apartment, Joseph A. Wallace was arraigned in Stapleton Criminal Court on charges of first-degree manslaughter, second-degree aggravated sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of child.

~Snip~

The charges mark the second child abuse-related homicide on Staten Island in a week -- and came as the borough laid the first victim to rest yesterday. Police said 21-month-old Hailey Gonzalez was shaken and thrown by her mother's boyfriend in their New Brighton home on Aug. 7, then left to suffer for five hours before an ambulance was called.

Cops: He murdered his baby

Just a tip... Do a Google on TerriPAC, Mikey's website, geared to fight those who tried to save Terri. There have been some interesting developments. Here is what you get at the website:

Rudy, Rudy, Rudy...Are you too left wing or too right wing or both? What are your thoughts on Terri?

.......................

When Giuliani announced his candidacy last November, the DNC responded with a press release attacking Giuliani for being…too left-wing—he was once a registered Democrat, he opposed the partial-birth abortion ban and some of Bush’s tax cuts, and he supported gay rights. In an editorial, the New York Sun remarked, “Mr. Giuliani may want to keep this press release on file for use in a general election campaign…. ‘Even the Democratic National Committee says I am pro-choice,’ Mr. Giuliani is going to be able to tell Democrats and independent voters.”

The incoherence of the DNC press release (which also attacked Giuliani for being too right-wing!) helped the candidate survive a choppy, ill-prepared launch, in which he stumbled badly while answering easy questions about abortion, the Terri Schiavo affair, and the various ethics and corruption scandals involving his former police commissioner, Bernard Kerik, which came out after President Bush nominated Kerik for Secretary of Homeland Security. Before these mistakes could crystallize into a defining moment, though, Giuliani righted the ship. That said, his critics on the Left continue to miss the mark in their hunt to bring down the Republican with the most appeal to Democratic and independent voters.

Giuliani’s Weak Spot?

I take great umbrage at this attempt to smear ancestors who include my own. I bet some of my ancestors were very nice and decent berserkers and helped to bring lutefisk and blond hair to the rest of the uncivilized world. And then he says, this:

.................The story goes that Rove made the decision early in the Bush presidency that the American middle was evaporating, and therefore the key to winning subsequent elections would not be swaying independents, as had been the approach theretofore, but rather doing a better job than the other side of mobilizing the base. That meant throwing more red meat to Wall Street geeks and Schiavo freaks than a whole herd of live Texas longhorns could supply...............

I rest my case.
