As of 2005, 155,144 of the nations 592,473 bridges (26.2%) were rated structurally deficient or functionally obsolete - see how bridges in your state are ranked.

I did that, and only got the window with the totals. Didn't see the TINY additional link that went to the actual list. This is crappy web page design---it would have made more sense to go directly to the list from that "state" map link, as no one is really interested in "how many" bridges in a state are "deficient or obsolete"---they want to see which ones they should avoid driving over.
Just taking a breather. Good to see your post. Thanks.
I will allow for the one whimper... Grin. Thanks for the report.
Yep, you’re exactly right IMO.
No, they were cradled in the warm glow of Billery and Hillary.
In line with your comments, I can’t believe they didn’t try to fly the Camelot II flag over the White House. I guess even they couldn’t quite swallow the ‘little happy family’ bilge.
Just another example of a federal agency trying to justify its existence by spewing report after report of chrome plated crap.
Someone did mention a bridge that failed under Clinton, but I’m not sure of it’s size.
As for the intelligence agencies, I’m sure you’d wager along with me that the same folks that were facilitating secrets to China during the Clinton years are the same one’s pulling the B.S. today.
As for the manure loaders, we need a lot more of them. The demoocrats and their fellow travelers have been busy.
Second worst bridge in Arizona - Deficient with a 43 rating - is right here in my county. It is on I-10 with hundreds of thousands of vehicles crossing it every day. It’s a bridge that we cross from time to time. Lucky for us, since we’re in the desert here, if it does go down it most likely won’t drop anyone into any water. But during Monsoon season (July-August) it is likely passing over a raging torrent. And that would be the most likely time for it to give way.
I think we’ve found the real “Bridge To Nowhere”!
It’s not working.
It seems the EX-PRESIDENT & EX-CO PRESIDENT should check out their own backyard!

Oh ,Caligula/Goron ran their heads about infrastructure in the 1992 and again in 1996 campaigns. Now, they did absolutely nothing about it, sort of like all the brave new improvements in airline safety and upgrades in the air traffic control system they also "promised".
Good post, but you didn’t expect the facts to matter did you? It’s nice to see their home state situation revealed for it’s dismal status. Thanks.
Good point. Didn’t hear much complaining out of their followers though. Isn’t that truly strange. I sure think it is.
It’s good to see “GGG” (’Grouchy Glendale Guy’) back on the keyboard...sometimes one doesn’t notice the absence of a regular until he shows up again, as in this case.
I would like to see a link showing deficient bridges, roadways, etc. by state vs. state highway and fuel taxes collected. My bet is that Chucky Schumer already knows who is number 1.
Fortunately, it's not as heavily traveled as an Interstate Hwy bridge, but it may be even more vulnerable because it's huge concrete bearing pillars were designed to be standing in water like a Lake Auburn behind an Auburn Dam!!! (America's biggest monument to stupidity by remaining unfinished at the hands of Demonicrats and gutless Repellicans!)
Now they've been standing there in the direct burning sunlight for nearly 40 years!!!
I just flew over it in the old motorhome with my grandkids aboard on the way to Sugarpine Reservoir! What a thrill!! Now I gots "bridge-a-phobia" to go along with my acraphobia!!!
