So... if Free Republic has no cuss words, than who needs a monitor?
Am I missing something?

Basically, Michael Savage was correct about Bill. He is not that bright or intellectual. Of course Free Republic needs a monitor to control it’s postings; Bill would love that job. Then he could remove news or information he does not like; just as would the Marxist Democrats with their censorship initiative. Then Free Republic and PBS would have something in common, socialist drivel with low audience ratings.

Although he had his researchers come up with a couple of articles (not postings) to “back up” his statements, obviously BOR has never browsed the contents of Free Republic himself. If he took the time to do so, he would see how quickly the Mods remove anything objectionable and how quickly one of the other 200,000+ posters will take care of excoriating the offender as well.

O’Reilly is all wrong on this issue and had a hissy fit. Too bad - he often tackles issues that the rest of the media should cover but avoid.

Telling the truth needs to be monitored in O's mindset. His fame has gone to his head and FR has a tendency to get the jump on subjects BO would love to break with on his show.
I reckon people who express bitterness at times for the constant BS we all endure are considered hateful in BO's world; like he's the only one allowed to express disgust nowadays. BO has read too much criticism about him on FR and his whittle feelwings are hurt.

O’Reilly is too over the top with hubris. In many ways he’s quite naive (self-taught).

I think what we are all missing is that th KOS sicked Bill O'Reilly on us. Without researching the entire situation, Bill jump on us so he could look fair and balanced. There are plenty of hate sites out there O'Reilly could have jumped on, but he played the fool and what after the people that KOS suggested.
If BOR can not get this kind of reporting correct, what else is he getting wrong or has gotten wrong?
I will not trust his commentary anymore.

Yes. You are missing the fact that O’Riley just channeled his inner fascist. You don’t have to be doing anything wrong to require a Central Scrutinizer.
