Can you believe that Bill O'Reilly said "I hate Blacks" on Public Television?
If you ask me, it sure sounds like Bill is a racist.
I don't know if DK works like FR, but I wonder what would happen if someone opened two new accounts, one on each of them. Then, the person posted ten conspicuously vile posts against President Bush on the DK site, and then used the exact same words on ten FR posts, but just switching out Bush for some Dem. Then check the sites two weeks later to see what's still there. Actually, I probably don't have to wonder. I'd bet the DK posts are all still there, and the FR poster would have been banned before his fingers even got warm.

If I was called a limey I would not be offended I see that comment in fact as part of our heritage and it also shows that us Brits had an understanding of natural medicine way back.

I havent watched Oreilly for years, precisely because of those same reasons pointed out above.
He has ALWAYS had a dispicable tendancy to excoriate many good and decent conservative people and causes, simply as a means to "prove" his independance.
To me, that puts him in the same camp as loonie left degenerates who accuse innocent people of hatred and depravity, simply as a means to exaggerate a point.
No difference in my mind between OReilly and many left wing serial finger pointers.
Which is why I havent seen OReilly in years (other than the clips shown on Fox n Friends morning show.
O’Reilly is a demagogue and windbag (he interrupts his guests about every fourth word) and characterizes as “hate” speech any criticism. His out of court settlement of his sexual harassment/assault suit was quickly put in the “no comment” zone.
His paternalistic and condescending “just looking out for the folks” exemplifies his self-importance. I stopped viewing his program some time ago. I think his ratings were good only because CNN and MSNBC were even worse.

Benjamin's donations to the city of our worst enemies presumably put dozens of our troops into their graves or into Walter Reed hospital, where her operatives stand outside to protest war policy every week. Why does The O'Reilly Factor legitimize the morally indefensible by giving Benjamin a single second of airtime?

I've always (well, almost always) used the term, "limey" in good humor (or is it humour? :). When I wish to disparage a Briton, I generally refer to them as "royalist," or, "lobsterback."
I can't hear you say that without thinking of the immortal German/Irish-bashing line from The Godfather, spoken to Corleone consigliere Tom Hagen in that scene's time frame, the late 40s. It just goes to show how politically correct we have become, because the objectionable words spoken in that movie were common parlance at the time.
I think O'Reilly is wrong that the level of hate has risen in this country. It has merely slid into different pockets than it was kept in before. Absurdly, he used a clip from a film apparently giving the history of white racism in the South during the 1950s to illustrate his point, even though the Civil Rights struggle ultimately produced enormous gains for many people of all colors.
O'Reilly needs to take a nice sabbatical and think things over for awhile.
