Tonight in answering his viewer mail he makes the a smarmy comment, "“Free Republic Needs a full time monitor.” or words to that effect." After sandbagging Kristinn and taking some cheap shots at FR to provide the illusion that he is "fair and balanced", he wants to move on. I don't think so.
Bill O’Reilly = Hillary Clinton with a scrotum.
O'Reilly's logic is stupid.
Personally, I am glad that Bill O’Reilly is making himself known to Freepers as to what he truly is, O’Reilly has just done Free Republic a service.

The closest thing to "hate" found on FR might be our unbending condemnation of the Islamic push to rule the world.
If O'Reilly wants to take up the Islamic side and bash us, well then he has lost all credibility. I know Geraldo is not happy with us at all over illegals.
O’Reilly blew it! He needs to sincerely apologize at the very least. I seem to remember a similar situation here in Fresno when a city-sponsored group called FR a “hate group” on city stationary. There was a big ruckus and Jim Robinson won.

Someone wrote in that 100% of the bad postings were plants and BOR said there is no way to know that, but Free Republic needs a full time monitor which it doesn't have today.
It is clear to me that he got his gigantic little ego bruised and now he wants to make us pay! I truly believe he is positioning himself in a good light for the Senate hearings on the new "Fairness Doctrine" because he feels that Empress Hillary will become President.
We have a perfect chance to prove the Cable Channel Personality corollary to the unified idiom of the Peter Principle.

I doubt he has a scrotum. Seriously, why does anybody watch that blowhard. He’s a cartoon of what’s wrong with television “news”.
The fact of the matter is that Bill O’Reilly is a big mouthed showman who sets up these situations to get some sparks and he plays gotcha-games with the guests he brings on his show, and he hides behind the whole ‘no spin zone’ BS (while he is madly spinning his own views), and anyone who disagrees with him, is labeled a ‘bloviator’ or worse.
What this really tells us is that O’Reilly is running out of tricks, and he’s trying to gin up some new controversies to keep his numbers up there.
And the bottom line?
Bill O’Reilly has begun the process of being ‘Ratherized’ right here on FR, because he is just as guilty of spewing hate, lies and trying to incite murder (Matt Drudge) as any hatemonger out there.
O’Reilly has met the enemy, and it’s the same face he sees in the mirror every morning.
Bill does the same thing to Ann Coulter. He condemns left wing hate speech, but then says the right has it's own haters, too. Equating Ann Coulter with the crazies on the left. Ann is a polarizing writer, but that doesn't make her a hater.
To his credit, O’Reilly noted that the amount of controversial content at FreeRepublic pales in comparison to that which appears on a near-daily basis at DailyKos. O'Reilly went on to add that they (at the Kos) seem to revel in hate.
Still, Bill O'Reilly uses his position as a national figure in a way that I'm thankful for. He goes after judges who are lenient on child abusers, he draws attention to the borders, he takes on the liberal media while he himself is a liberal pinhead. It is intellectual laziness to equate Ann Coulter with the hate on the left just as it is to equate freerepublic with the Daily Kos. Perhaps, it comes naturally if you're a Independent Kool-Aid drinker?
Time to boycott O’Reilly. When he comes on...turn him off, and let FOXNEWS know that you’re doing it.
We've all been slandered to some degree.
We MUST make him retract and admit he lied.
We need to BOYCOTT FOX NEWS and email daily until such time as O'Reilly retracts, publically.
Give O’Really??? a break.
Remember he alone brought down big oil to give us $3.00 a gallon gasoline.

I think you’re batting 2 for 3 on that headline.
Any thread in which the topic is Hillary or Cindy Sheehan, for example, is not exactly a friendly thing to see. I don't even click on such anymore because all those threads contain are personal attacks, no debate of the issues. Most of the personal attacks on Hillary are of a joking nature ... no more or less than Letterman or Leno do every night.
That said ... we all know that FR is not a 'hate' site and that O'Reilly has absolutely no clue when he opines on this subject and he is apparently not open-minded enough to learn about FR when he has the chance. That is his loss. But he will use everything ugly that is said about him on this site to further his argument.
