I don’t know why expected to find folks on this thread who think what the father did was OK, but here they are. Sad.
Twenty years ago at a local festival a father caught his daughter smooching on a guy he had warned her to stay away from. Just kissing. He angrily forced her to leave along with the rest of the family. As he prepared to pull the car away she started screaming that he might just as well kill her if she couldn’t see the boy. The father stops, whips out a loaded (and legal) gun, cocks it, points it at her and says, “Maybe I will.” Girl grabs gun and is shot in the chest. When I arrived (newspaper reporter at the time), rescue squad is doing CPR in the middle of the street and the father is, of course, in hysterics. She didn’t make it.
Hey, but I guess she learned her lesson, eh? /sarc
How many of you who defend killing for sexual misconduct consider yourselves Christians?
You are all one small step away from justifying honor killings. Unbelievable.
And yes, I raised a daughter to adulthood who is doing very well and I never had to resort to beating or killing her boyfriends. I would be happy to sit on the jury that will help put that miscreant father behind bars for life where he belongs.
