I recently tuned in to the Radio Factor to hear Bill O’Reilly saying that he was hated by Freerepublic and that it was an extreme right wing blog. First of all, Mr. O’Reilly is not hated. I have a lot of respect for the man, his honesty, integrity and point of view. What I don’t like, as do many Freepers, is that when he is on target on some key issues, he is way off target on others. He needs to realize that we even disagree amongst ourselves quite often. I get my daily dose of talk radio, Rush, Dr. Savage, Boortz, Levin and O’Reilly. Why does he always have to thrash a conservative i.e. Ann Coulter in the same breath when he’s zapping a liberal? Let’s just say that when some of us disagree with him, he needs to be “de-spun” on occasion. It’s called “tough love” Mr. O’Reilly. The Great Oz has spoken.
I think if you watch it back this evening during the re-run you’ll agree that OReilly agreed with Lanny Davis about “hate” sites that even republicans won’t go to. Freerepublic beig the ONLY one of those right wing ones that was mentioned by name.

Don’t forget how O’Reilly went after the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth initially. If you recall, he was going to get to the bottom of the GOP dirty tricks that put the SBVT up to their ‘antics.’
I stopped paying attention to him long ago. He is an egotist out for himself and himself only.

I saw it, O’Reilly didn’t call it that. Lanny Davis said it, OReilly just brushed him off by not giving him an opinion about it. O’Reilly’s point was you don’t see Republican candidates endorsing us.
That said, there is a world of difference between Kos and FR.
