CAIR says "John Doe" protection won't stop them from suing John Does
Youtube ^ | 7/26/2007 | Tucker Carlson

Watch CAIR spokesmouth Ibrihim Hooper state matter-of-factly that nothing will stop them from suing anyone who dares report a Muslim to authorties and that the newly enacted John Doe provision doesn't change a thing legally.

Do you think a regular person, with a job and a life, is going to want to embroil himself in a lawsuit against CAIR? Get real.

Maybe some pro-American group can include CAIR as a co-defendant every time some rag-head is sued for suspicious activity. They may get tired of responding to numerous suits seeking information relating to terrorist activity and also whether CAIR acted in good faith or were just maliciously intimidating Americans who did act in good faith as the government asks any American to do.

Cair needs to be shut down and prosecuted under RICO statutes, they are a front for Hamas and others, nothing more.

“I’m trying to figure out which side of this I’m on. Say for example my neighbor told the cops he thought I might be growing pot in my attic. Without developing more evidence the cops serve a warrant and though they find nothing, I’ve been put through the experience. I think I should have some recourse against the neighbor.”

Why? It was the police who acted against you directly with the sanction of a Judge. You should act against them, I would think the Judge would require appropiate evidence or suspicion to sign off on the warrant. And if there wasn’t then you have a civil suit against the authorities.

“I suppose if the intent is to shield someone who simply tells the cops to ‘look over there’ and the cops then see for themselves that something is suspicious then I’m okay with it.”

There already are laws against making false reports. And that renders the falsifier under criminal liability, not just civil.

The system is already established to discourage and prosecute false reports.

What is new is this legal jihad against Americans to get them to shut up.

Curious. What would happen if a bunch of guys wearing gang colors or MS-13 tattoos got on a plane and behaved strangely?

If they were behaving strangely then march 'em off and figure out what they're up to.

He makes a good point legally - that there is a good faith provision in the new law. He says they can then cross examine the complainant to see if it was good faith.

Can a muzzie be examined to determine if his profession is "a good faith". /p

What an outstanding statement. If you don’t mind, I have saved that to file so that I may review it often and with your permission, send it to friends and acquaintances. Outstanding—but I already said that, didn’t I?

Your sympathies will be remembered when the time comes.

Talking of sympathies, checkout CAIR's online petition entitled "Not in the Name of Islam"

It's been online for over three years for Muslims to sign.

Total number of signatures to date.......117 !

They are learning everything they need to know from the Liberal playbook. Meanwhile, they would cut off the head of a Liberal if they had the chance.
