In the 1900-1910 decade when capital punishment was routinely carried out on convicted murderersshortly after the sentence was pronounced, the US murder rate was less than 1 per 100,000 population. 90 years later when first offender murderers were usually released on parole after serving just over 9 years on average, the US murder rate was approximately 8.9 per 100,000 population.
The per capita murder rate has dropped since the late 1990s, IMHO due at least partly to the enactment of shall issue CCW laws in most states, but is now beginning to show signs of a resurgence. I believe that reinstating the normal 1900 practice of capital punishment for 1st degree murderers would bring the US murder rate down to at least 1/2 of what it is now, and probably even less.
BTW, it's interesting that Washington D.C., where handguns are in effect totally banned and long guns are not allowed to be kept assembled, the per capita murder rate is approximately 35 time higher (69 vs 2.3 per 100,000) than in Switzerland where both handguns and long guns are legal for any law abiding Swiss citizen to own and keep in his/her home and vehicle, and regular target practice with military type firearms is encouraged by the state. The NYC rate is about 7 times higher than that of the Swiss, and the Chicago rate is approximate 10 times higher. In NYC, for all practical purposes the average citizen who is not either rich, somehow connected to a high ranking politician, or a celebrity can not obtain a permit to legally possess a handgun even in his/her home, and it is very difficult for him/her to legally possess a shotgun or rifle. Chicago bans all handguns that were not registered to the current owner prior to a certain date, IIRC it was some year in the mid-1970s but I could be off by a few years either way.
1) Blacks don’t have the smarts to get away with doing certain crimes.
2) There are too many blacks in Iowa and state residents want to keep them all together making it easier to watch over them.
3) Black males don’t want to pay alimony and child support for all their girlfriends and bastard kids.
4) Drugs are easier to get while in prison.
As I said, they are an assortment of reasons why Blacks are in prison.
All the Black Men criminals ought to be brought to Harold Johnson’s house.
If blacks are over-represented in prisons its because reproduction has become a hobby instead of a responsibility.
More black “youths” wind up prodcuing illegitimate children than any other ethnic group in America. Most often these individuals grow up with no family, no parental supervision, no morals, no self-respect, no respect for other people, and no goals in life. The result - they wind up commiting crimes because that is all they have been programmed to do.
And guess what? Chances are they will repeat the cylce and produce more like themselves.
If our prisons are too crowded, its because being there is preferable to being in a productive job.
As Sherman once said war is hell and by making it so, we can reduce suffering and end it quicker.
If prisons became penal colonies again instead of feel-good gardens for sociologists, we would have less convicts to house of all races.

Without those unreported crimes, a black make is 10-15 times more likely to commit a robbery with an injured victim than a white male explaining the disparity in prison populations. (Liberal crybabies, don’t make me look this up for you again). The actual multiples would be higher.

But then, what about the 60% who are incarcerated for crimes other than drug offenses? Guess we don't want to talk about the violent thugs, do we.
As obvious as it should be, prison keeps criminals from committing crimes.
This guys entire argument is that the system is inherently racist, and there is no study that Blacks are more inherently criminal, but then in the next study says blacks are disproportionately poor and studies have shown that poverty is linked to crime....
This sort of disproves his assertions that blacks are in prison because the system is racist. They are in jail because they are criminals... they are committing more of the crimes. Now to say its simply because they are poor is nonsense. As long as blacks embrace the urban failed "culture" in large numbers, continue to embrace a "culture" that worships violence, misogyny and hedonism, while abhoring education, work, achievement, monogomy, fatherhood and marriage they will continue to be committing disproportionate numbers of crimes.

Work gangs on hiways and other state properties are a good solution.

How about simple statistics? Blacks commit 70% of violent crimes. That hasn't changed much over the last several years.
Black males between the age of 16 and 35 are responsible for 70% of all crimes committed in this country.
Thats fact, not myth. Hence, yep, you are going to have more black males in prison.
