I did forget to point out that Giuliani didn't go with the suggested Bronx (Brooklyn?) location for NYC's Emergency Management Center as well. The memo stated that the Bronx location was a less attractive target than the WTC.

The thing is, conservatives are not going to concede ground anymore. That's what the opposition to Rudy is about. Look what happened to CA. Look how the establishment supported Specter in 2004, Lincoln Chaffee, McCain, Harriet Miers, ports deal, shamnesty, etc. Do you think conservatives are going to support an out-and-out liberal just because he has the R on his chest?

A liberal Republican is just as bad as the Democrat. If Rudy wins the nomination, or if he's selected as VP, conservatives are going to stay home or vote 3rd party. You are asking us to forsake deeply held principles for political expedience. No thanks. I'd rather have the Rat in office than a gutless RINO.

Giuliani has opposed the enforcement of laws cracking down on illegal immigrants and their employers. He opposed the Republican's welfare reform legislation because it took away benefits from illegal aliens. He ran that largest sanctuary city in the U.S. and even sued the Federal Government because he didn't want to obey the law demanding that NYC law enforcment cooperate with federal immigration authorities. He is one of the weakest candidates when it comes to border security and immigration law enforcement.

Citizens should be allowed to care hand guns everywhere.

Giuliani has confiscated more guns than any other candidate in the race, Democrat or Republican. He bragged about the number of guns he confiscated and endorsed Clinton's national gun control proposals.

Partial Birth Abortion Should be Banned.
Abortion should be a state issue or banned completely.

Giuliani has stated repeatedly his support for the partial birth abortion procedure, his opposition to laws restricting partial birth abortion, and has been a strong support of all forms of abortion for any reason at any point in the development of the unborn child. He ran under the Liberal Party ticket every time he ran for Mayor, having their endorsement, mostly because of his liberal abortion positions. He is the most pro-abortion Republican I've ever encountered.

Global warming is a hoax.

Giuliani has very recently stated his belief in global warming.

“Slander”? Did he not run roughshod over the 2nd amendment, and further, try to bring punitive lawsuits against legitimite manufacturers? Maybe he is exactly what NYC needs, maybe he is telling the truth when he says he won’t do nationally what he did in NYC, but I see no reason to trust him.
I have no need to get into the abortion issue, gays, or anything else, the RKBA issue is bad enough on it’s own.

I think you are misrepresenting and oversimplifying what has happened here. There are still plenty of Rudy supporters on FR. Supporting Rudy does not get you banned--calling people names and attacking conservatives/conservatism will.

I personally pinged the AdminModerator twice on this thread to some of California Patriot's abuses. I was called a "dimwitted ignoramus" and told "You and your ignorant, bigoted, hateful, anti-Republican ilk are just venting. Go fart somewhere else."
