While most Democratic activist eyes will be on the first ever YouTube debate in South Carolina on Monday, an equally novel and potentially more consequential clash will be taking place that day in Washington, when peace queen Cindy Sheehan comes to town to declare war on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Two weeks ago, Sheehan threatened to launch a primary campaign against Pelosi in her San Francisco district unless Pelosi agreed to begin the process of impeachment against President Bush by July 23—the day Sheehan wraps up her latest anti-war protest tour with a publicity raid on the Capitol.
The speaker’s spokesman confirmed a few days ago that impeachment remains “off the table.” So on Monday, we can expect the gloves to come off between the left’s two leading ladies.
It will be tempting to write this off as just another piece of attention-getting street theater by Sheehan—who just two months ago announced she was retiring from the protest movement —or your run of the mill, fringe-fueled family feud that Democrats once were famous for. But to do so would be to oversimplify what this spat is about and underestimate why it matters

The Dems sold their collective soul to the left wing nuts like Sheehan to get elected in 2006 and now have to live up to the promises they made. However, to honor these promises will spell disaster in 2008. Congress has almost non existent approval ratings for a reason in that they haven’t kept any promises they made to either the left or moderates and have instead engaged in an orgy of Bush hate investigations. There may be hope for the Republicans in 2008 if they can get their act together.
Bush hasn’t. He hasn’t done anything that the dhimmicrats themselves didn’t vote for.
It was official United States policy, as of 1998 (Billy-boy) to overthrow the Saddam regime and all leading dhimmicrats are quotes as believing in the presence of WMD.
They’re just crazy, that’s all.
Cindy has just learned something most of us knew long ago—the ‘representative’ government represents no one but themselves and their donors. Though they’ll be glad to pimp you out for votes, as long as you can get them favorable press or at least embarrass their political rivals.
Sheehan is their Frankenstein monster and it’s creeping up on them. It’s just to good to see this moron pulling their strings and they can’t believe how she has turned on them. It’s gonna get good folks because she is looked up to by the loony left but laughed at by moderates and us and she in the drivers seat right now.
It’s already mighty ridiculous, but the closer we get to 2008 the more ridiculous all this impeachment talk becomes.
I sincerely hope they keep it up.
America can be "sick" of this WOT, and that's why they elected DBM/dems, but I gaurantee, nobody thought these charaltons would sit back and do nothing but bitch and moan about how much they HATE Bush! And there is nothing that says LOSER more clearer than what the DBM/dems have shown.
The moderates/fense sitters better get a clue and find some resolve soon because if anyone thinks these terrorist aren't planning to hit us again they are in nothing but serial denial!
The dems know that a good attack deflects the questions from their own treason and criminal activities.

That does not stop the dem masses from getting all a twitter when the "i" word is mentioned. Every time it is hinted at in the news I get send the story with comments like they will get him this time... This is it.... He's on the run now...
I used to try to explain why they wouldn't impeach him. That did not work. Now I mock them and challenge them to try. Then I point out that their leadership is either incapable or are cowards. After a few days of their glee about Bush finally being impeached they realize nothing will happen. That never seems to stop their emotional roller coaster the next time the "i" word is mentioned.....
