I am fed up with all the talk about Rudy`s leadership skills and how he is the right guy for the war on terror.
I am very sad to learn that so many are ready to throw Jesus overboard for Rudy what`s his name.Rudy is for everything that our Lord Jesus is against. I am ashamed of all that are even considering voting for the man. He supports abortion and homosexuality.
Vote for Rudy and you are saying goodbye to Jesus. You are spitting in God`s face when you support Rudy.

Many people - at least several people - on this forum still like Rudy. I’m fine with that.
With the exception of Ron Paul, there is not a single GOP candidate who would be weak on the war. Though Rudy acted appropriately on 9/11, that doesn't make him an anti-terror god.

Which, morally, would be an improvement. The only other Repub making national security a centerpiece is, arguably, Tancredo. Hunter's campaign isn't getting any exposure, as much as I like that guy, too. Play the hand we're dealt. We're bigger men, and, more importantly, Citizens of the Republic.

I’ve been tending to other affairs as of late. Can’t help but drop in occasionally on one of the Rudy threads (lol).
I think most of his arduent supporters have begrudgingly silenced themselves, which turns the music way down. With no change of heart though, the battles we all face ahead will be that much more difficult for us all. I’m concerned for the future of our Country, to be quite honest.
Nah - it's actually better for FR, because all of our various angers are pointed better in the shorter term at buttheads like the US Senate. 2008's season is still a ways off.
Giuliani's campaign is doing fine, outside of FR. His press folks have a bit of a tin ear to events, but that's above my paygrade.

With all due respect, I wish the mayor's supporters would be big enough to stop using this fallacious argument. It is simply not true that he's the only one who is strong on this issue, and one reason we haven't heard much debate about it on the GOP side is precisely because all of them want to remain on offense.
Is Rudy the best on this issue? Perhaps. Is he the only viable candidate who has the will and toughness to smack down the jihadis? No, not even close.
