Concourse at Miami International evacuated as bomb squad called in

Concourse F at Miami International Airport was being evacuated this morning, and the bomb squad was being called to the scene to investigate a report of a possible explosive device. Hundreds of people reportedly were removed from the concourse.

The evacuation began shortly after 6 a.m., according to early reports.

Thanks for the thread, Prisoner6. I had people calling in and asking me about this today.

Why do people seem to always come to me for information? LOL!...

I hope this isn't another one of those "where did it go?" scenarios, where the screener sees something suspicious, doesn't react immediately, and the "item" is lost in the crowd, necessitating shutting down the whole terminal.
