A rape survivor is a rape victim who will not let herself feel like a helpless victim. (at least, that is how I understand it)
Let me guess. You are one of those thuggish brutes that believes a woman who has been raped “deserved it” and that she should just “get over it.” Is that what drove your question?
Well .. I believe most rape victims are killed before or after they are raped .. and that may be why they use the “rape survivor” label.
A rape survivor is someone who has been raped, but refuses to call themself a victim. Calling yourself a survivor gives you more strength to face the challenges you will face from that day forward. Calling yourself a victim is more likely to make you feel defeated.
I'm going to assume your question is serious: A rape survivor is a man or woman who has survived being raped (many don't, either because they are killed by the rapist, they contract a terminal disease, or they kill themselves). It's not something PC invented by feminazis, unless someone considers rape and surviving the resulting trauma and pain to be a "feminazi" issue. (In which case I'd like to meet them, or rather let me fists and feet meet them -- repeatedly.)
PS I will note that the issue and survivors are, sadly, sometimes exploited by the feminazis, esp. the "all men are evil" crowd. Sigh.
