Why did I not finish it?

Because I have learned another truth... about people in general. People are going to believe what they want to believe, and do what they want to do. Truth doesn't matter. Facts don't matter. Common sense doesn't matter.

The medical industry is the largest industry on this planet. That sheer size, of an by itself, infers that whatever you medical folks believe and do is right.

Like those who questioned you 300 years ago about bleeding people... the "accepted" practice of the day, and were roundly chastised, vilified, and hounded into silence, I too recognize now that there is no point in challenging such a massive block of thinking.

The result? I don't really care anymore. Go do with your health whatever you think best.

That ebook page on my website has been dormant for months... no hits... until the last 36 hours or so. When I decided a while back to not finish the book, I probably should have taken that page down, but it will be taken down now.

Don't go yet! I need some help with my lawnmower. I've been adding gasoline to the engine, but the mower is struggling as of late. Since gasoline is a well-known toxin, I wonder whether my engine may have developed cancer, or perhaps Alzheimers. What's the best way to flush its system?

Could just be me, but you came in here and started by calling us stupid, and I haven't seen anyone say that you shouldn't have complete and total freedom of speech. Please post specific messages where people told you to be silent so we can verify this claim. I have seen several people who have said quite politely that the way to recognize silly ideas is by allowing as many of them to make it to the public forum as possible and let the people judge. Based upon what I have seen so far, I am sorry but I have to place you as being in orbit just beyond Dale Gribble, another conspircy-minded person who smokes too much.

What I did observe was a great number of people with a vast collection of scientific knowledge dispute you on your facts. I also observed you completely ignore arguments that disagreed with you, assuredly because you had no response to argue with. I observed you dismiss other arguments by saying they didn't contain facts (which of course freed you from arguing those facts.)

For instance, I got no response to this: "Is tobacco a drug? Do the hundreds of toxic additives that go into commercial tobacco count as toxins? Someone here supposedly said you smoke...is this true? If so, please address these two questions." You can imagine a world where my consumption of milk from a cow will give me cancer, but smoking a hundred toxic chemicals into your lungs apparently isn't something that endangers you. Is this just a logical conflict you haven't thought about, or is it a conscious choice?

Likewise, my statement that logically if I accept your assumption that drinking milk from an animal outside the human bloodline causes toxins, then eating human meat should be good for you. I had hoped for some kind of response to that. Probably, it didn't contain any facts, or wasn't a serious thing to say, or maybe it wasn't stated in the form of a question. Of course, I am merely trying to point out inconsistencies, and see if you have at least developed a rationalization to account for them.

By posting here, I have to admit, you did generate a lot of attention for yourself. (Possibly only the Creationism/Evolution threads grow as fast.) I hope it was something that gave you the buzz that all of us here enjoy, the knowledge that other are at least paying attention to us.
