This story was touched on in another capital punishment story.
The convicted pleaded guilty and did not appeal to delay an execution. "He wants to die" I believe are the words used in another story; and he is apparently guilty of a depraved act, calling for the ultimate penalty.
I believe the execution was delayed once before, mainly because they weren't sure if the execution could readily be carried out.

Sounds like he richly deserves it.

Leftists will now burn white candles in memorial - something they never did for the victim.

But the murderer is white! I thought only blacks were executed! Jesse and Al said so, and they wouldn’t lie!!

OK, I’ve read the intro 3 times. I also went and read the article it refers to.
So my question is this: Is the condemned man the robber or the victim of a robbery?
I guess it’s too much to ask that people who write for a living actually know how to do it.

Keating said they came to make sure Poage, the murder victim, was remembered. "People are forgetting that boy was tortured for three hours, crying to go home. That's sick," she said. "I'm just here to support justice for this tortured boy. Maybe his mother will sleep better tonight."'For he will have judgement without mercy that shewed no mercy' (James 2:13)

I consider myself a compassionate person, but a quick death is simply too good for this guy. I can't believe down deep people that do this kind of thing really think they will get away with it - I think they really want to die themselves, but not painfully like their victims do and that should be the way he dies - tortured and forced to drink acid.
