My 2c...I'm a white guy and have been stopped a number of times (especially at Sam's Club) for review of my sales slip. Seems like it usually happens around Christmastime.

Each time, I mention my unhappiness about being stopped to the store manager, for all the good it does me. Is it racial? I doubt it, it's just foolishness.

I no longer shop at Sam's Club because of this policy.

About a year ago I walked into my local Sam's Club and forgot they check you for a card on the way on. This guy came up behind me and grabbed my arm.

I turned around, looked him in the eye, and started counting: 1 .. 2 .. 3 ..

He looked shocked and turned me loose. Then he explained about the card. I took it out, along with my pocket knife. I cut the card in half, handed it to him, and walked out. I've never been back.
