it was the other way around.

I wasn't right, I just thought it would make more sense that way. It wasn't a statement. Anyway, it appears McCain got more than he bargained for. And now the way the story has come out makes his campaign not only look ineffective, but imploded.

A number of sources are saying that Reed Galen, who had been serving as McCain’s deputy campaign manager, and Rob Jesmer, the campaign’s political director, have tendered their resignations.

I heard that too! I heard Rick Davis is taking over the whole campaign. Been a lot of fallout all day. Looks like one was fired and the dominos fell.

I’d bet other campaigns will pick up these guys in a hurry.

Is there any kind of basis like this for your remark or is it just that you are backing another horse and think it useful to take cheap shots at other candidates?

Yes. My basis is the man himself, Mitt Romney, that great cloud of hot, stinky gas, who, when the voters examine him closely, will simply fade away. It will be as if he never existed on the national scene. He will be the Lamar Alexander of this decade, only not quite so charming and intelligent as the original loser. And this is not a cheap shot. It is the painful truth. If you are a Romney supporter you are advised to consider other options.

Romney maybe pulling in the cash from the faithful and he can bankroll his own campaign, but despite all of his money he can’t break out of single digits because he makes Kerry look like a man of principle and conviction.

I'm guessing it has something to do with mitt being a leftie and anti gun stooge from tax a two craps.

Let’s all get our yucks in while we still can. We just think we didn’t like the everyday, run-of-the-mill RINO version of McLaim. Wait until we get a load of the scorned version of this sick, sick puppy. It ain’t gonna be pretty. Or funny.

It’ll be one of his fellow RINOs in the race.

An angry McCain reportedly confronted Weaver and Nelson about the campaign's operations, particularly the amount of money that was being spent even when it was clear funds were tight.

Since when does McCain care about fiscal responsibility?

Their biggest problem is that the campaigns have all hired senior staff and they will never come close to earning what they did with McCain which is why he is low on money. His burn rate was very high for his donations. Only reason that Romney is not down with McCain is that he loaned his campaign over $10 million so far. Both campaigns had high burn rates.

Couldn’t believe what I heard McCain and Romney were paying their staffs right away. Looks like the two campaigns competed against each other for Bush staffers and the salaries went up accordingly.

Senator McCain — has never done anything in a manner to suggest he is presidential material...

Near the bottom of his class at Annapolis.
Was involved in the destruction of at least 3 aircraft - OURS.

One of the few POWs to come home with questions of behavior as a prisoner and the receiver of unique “attention” by the enemy.

Divorces his injured 1st wife who stood by him while he was a POW - and worked for his release. It is reported she still adores him and would vote for him..

Marries a trophy wife who just happens to be a Beer Fortune heiress.....who steals drugs from a charitable health care office.

Gets involved in the Keating Five Saving and Loan scam, suggesting he profited from defending and interceding for Keating with the Government investigation...

With Kerry - co-chaired the Senate “investigation” on the truthfulness of Vietnam’s POW/MIA reporting status, leading to normalization of relations with Communist Vietnam.

Won no friends in the POW/MIA and Vietnam veteran ranks for his treatment of the families who didn’t believe the Senate’s whitewash of the POW/MIA “investigation”.

Becomes the darling of the Left Wing Press - as the icon of the RINO gang...

McCain/Feingold “Campaign Finance Reform”.
McCain’s position on illegal immigration.

McCain was ALWAYS toast...
The public has finally wised up and come to see him for what he is.......an overrated, over compensated, under performing, back stabbing POS...

Semper Fi

Oh yeah. It’s too bad it didn’t keep him out of the cockpit back during Vietnam-a real shame how he managed to work all that into a Senate seat. And then keep it all these years.

Interesting point. By what estimation could money ever be an issue? I suppose it speaks to viability. But the Clintons have lots of money too.

Considering he crashed 3 planes, it would have been better had he stayed out of them. How or why people put him in office and kept him there is a mystery. I can't see any substance in the man.
