Republican presidential candidate John McCain accepted the resignations of two of his top aides today in a stunning shakeup of a campaign that has been roiled by financial and political problems.
Campaign manager Terry Nelson and chief strategist John Weaver issued terse statements announcing their departures from the McCain camp, which reportedly came after the candidate erupted after concluding that his top-level advisers had mismanaged the operation.
An angry McCain reportedly confronted Weaver and Nelson about the campaign's operations, particularly the amount of money that was being spent even when it was clear funds were tight. The final confrontation, coming after McCain returned from a visit to Iraq over the weekend, ultimately led to their departures, according to sources......."

It appears that ever since the McCain/Kennedy Amnesty bill broke down, many on McCain's staff are leaving.

Is there any basis to believe that Romney has a temper problem or that his campaign, admittedly not surging, is in freefall the way McCain is? Neither is true -- I doubt Romney has an anger management issue, so that's off the boards. As for a free-falling campaign, Romney's risked everything on decisive wins in Iowa and New Hampshire. If that doesn't happen, his campaign is over, no matter how much money he has. But we likely won't know those answers until next year unless something drastic happens.

McAmnesty could just get a couple of undocumented immigrants to do the job cheaper. Especially since it doesnt seem to be a job that most Americans are willing to do. :) Ahahahahaha! LOL

Heh. Not to worry. Your original point was, in all probability, correct.
You certainly did hit several nerves among those who believe that a NE RINO is taking the GOP nomination. 8^)
Romney may well not ex or implode, but he is going nowhere in particular even if he does pick up the big 20 or so votes from his followers in the Socialist States up in the NE, although I wish him no ill will

“Republican presidential candidate John McCain accepted the resignations of two of his top aides today in a stunning shakeup of a campaign that has been roiled by financial and political problems.”
McCain, it’s not your aids that are the problem. It’s you coddling of illegal alien scum that is the problem.

When McCain drops out, Fred Thompson will take 75% of his support...putting him solidly in front.

Great news! McCain is no ordinary, pesky RINO. He is unstable and not at all suited to be POTUS.

LOL...although really, McCain’s been hovering around 10% last time I checked. 7% added to Fred’s totals would put him ahead in most states.

An angry McCain reportedly confronted Weaver and Nelson about the campaign’s operations,......LOOK IN THE MIRROR JOHN!....there’s the reason your campaign fell on its ass! OLE!
To: RockinRight
McCain is around 10 - 12 nationwide but in Iowa and S. Carolina he’s at 5 or 6% or as I like to call it “within the margin of Huckabee”

He will travel to New Hampshire on Friday for a major speech about the war, an issue which has caused him political problems throughout the year.
On the contrary, his position on the war has not caused a problem for him. His problems have been caused by certain of his other positions, CFR, amnesty, etc.
