Republican presidential candidate John McCain accepted the resignations of two of his top aides today in a stunning shakeup of a campaign that has been roiled by financial and political problems.
Campaign manager Terry Nelson and chief strategist John Weaver issued terse statements announcing their departures from the McCain camp, which reportedly came after the candidate erupted after concluding that his top-level advisers had mismanaged the operation.
An angry McCain reportedly confronted Weaver and Nelson about the campaign's operations, particularly the amount of money that was being spent even when it was clear funds were tight. The final confrontation, coming after McCain returned from a visit to Iraq over the weekend, ultimately led to their departures, according to sources......."

What!
Don’t they realize who John McInsane is?
Hell, he’s a hero — just ask Kerry or the communist dog eating sonsuvbitches in Vietnam...
Imagine that meeting!
LOL
Lol.
Oh, is McCain running? Huh.
If he could only tap into that wonderful Chinese spy cash that helped fund the Clinton reelection campaign...
Looks like the McCain/Finegold “Campaign Finance Reform” Bill is working just fine -— bankrupting McCain for his bankrupt performance as a RINO....
John McCain, starring in the roll of Captain Queeg in the “McCain Mutiny”.
Rush just said a third staffer is out as well!!!!....——————————————————————————I don’t think he left to buy a new toaster.
He was probably a real prick to work for, anyway...
Notice the peak around May 14.

WASHINGTON, May 17 Senate negotiators from both parties announced Thursday that they had reached agreement on a comprehensive immigration bill that would offer legal status to most of the nations 12 million illegal immigrants while also toughening border security.
Now that’s pithy!
Sadly, McCain doesn’t realize that firing the entire staff will still result in his being unpopular - it’s his positions that have derailed his campaign, not his pollsters, fundraisers or advisors. The Border, Stupid!
The only thing that could save THAT campaign would be if McCain resigned...
his next book will be titled “Voyage to the Bottom of the Political Sea.”
There was a story told by John Weaver (one of the 2 men who just quit) about McCain in 2000.
McCain was angry about something, and threw a fit and decided he was going to blow off a campaign stop, get on his bus and leave.
Weaver, anticipated this happening, and made sure he had the keys.
LOL.
That said, I hope Thompsons campaign signs Weaver up, he is a darn good consultant, and very well qualified.
(Snicker) I guess McCain couldn't explain his lamebrain support for amnesty AND his activities financing the Arizona-Mexico Commission, and the Border Infrastructure Project implemented in collaboration with federal, state and local government agencies........that's OUR tax dollars.

McAmnesty could just get a couple of “undocumented immigrants” to do the job cheaper. Especially since it doesn’t seem to be a job that most Americans are willing to do. :)
