Then it's all the more pity Dinesh has moved away. He now parrots the liberal talking points, and h's off in Brock-land.
I'd go to the library, but it's full of winos.

I don't either. I only see it as one man served ans one man didn't.
I tend to like it when out citizens serve.

I'm staying out of the candidate wars
(at least as far as the republican candidate is concerned)
When the time comes I'll vote for the guy I want.
I don't see Fred as a bad thing.
& no I'm not a follower of his
(I would vote for him in a heartbeat if he won the nomination)
To: WorkerbeeCitizen
Maybe it’s best if you can only be a citizen if you serve in the military.

I did not know he’s become a lib. that suprises the hell out of me. Last I heard he was getting raked over the coals for his book suggesting the islamofascists hate us because of the decadence in our culture. that doesn’t sound liberal to me.

Also be aware, that I, personally, am in full support of Fred Thompson’s candidacy.
However, I have not commented on such on Free Republic, and will not do so for the forseeable future.

The question is two fold.
If you were a primary voter in New Hampshire (and Fred was fully in the race) for whom would you vote to have as the nominee and to send a message of conservatism's preferance.
Laying that fully aside, and looking at the Clinton-Obama-Gore prospects, who do you want to see running in November of 08 to keep the Democrats from total control?
I have to be honest, I can't say the same name in answer to both questions and that is a damn shame.
The rationalist saying is that consistancy is the hobgoblin of the small mind and I guess I have to sign on to that inconstancy and elasticity of desire.
Is the fault in me or in the politicians of the era? Or is it that I just know the electorate in general and how hard it is to get their attention?

Good quotes from Fred. Here’s some more Fred, on globalism:
Were not afraid of globalization. It works to our benefit. We innovate more and invest in that innovation better than anywhere else in the world. Same thing goes for services. Free trade and market economies have done more for freedom and prosperity than a central planner could ever dream and were the worlds best example of that.

Please be aware I did not post to the site at all today. I did not make this post at all. Someone has usurped and co-opted my presence on the site. I was wondering about that. Thanks for the clarification

"Rumors circulated that Thompson was lazy, uninterested in the daily grind that comes with being a Senatorand one can understand that Capitol Hill is a lot more tedious and less glamorous than a Hollywood movie lot." Since when do we want a guy who loves the daily legislative grind? God forbid. If Reagan had been in the Senate, he'd have been the same kind of guy. I love Thompson's ability to connect with the people, his appreciation of the importance of playing to an audience, his persuasive speeches and articles. His love of ideas. It's enough, and it's more than anybody else out there has.
