It all rings true. I was born in Calif. in 1947. I watched the decay of by birthplace really start to accelerate in the 70’ following a huge influx of NY’ers starting the tilt to the left. The illegal invasion started getting serious shortly thereafter, and the rest is history. A once beautiful state that gave us Reagan has become the state that will bring you Reconquista.

From the late 19th century until 1950 the Hispanic demographic for California were a steady 15%.

Then California agriculture began attracting illegal Mexican aliens via Tehas. Next came the Bracero program and liberals welcomed its anchor babies with open arms. Reagan opened the spigot and Bush knocked the bung off the barrel. Within less than 100 years (1950 - 2050), Mexico will have recovered Alto California.

I remember reading about the CA of yesteryear, back in the 50s and early 60s, where middle class families were abundant, that CA dream was in the air, beautiful sun-kissed weather, etc. CA was a trend-setter in everything, inventions, can-do American spirit.
