Now Kawasaki
Now Mitsubishi
Its an airliner ya think it would be on time ?
The rollout speeches are boring, but the plane looks cool. I saw a program on it yesterday and it uses composite plastics to make it lighter and stronger than if it was made from aluminum. Also, it has two big ol’ bad-ass engines instead of 4 smaller ones. A good looking bird for sure.
Try the link in post #25 if your Boeing direct feed gets spotty. I am in Mexico right now and it works here. Viva aviacion!
They’re still putting in rivets behind the curtain!

On the Boeing 787, for the first time, the engine nacelles will have scalloped rear-edge chevrons. The chevrons, developed by the 787 nacelle manufacturer Goodrich as a result of research carried out by Boeing with GE Aviation and Rolls-Royce, will cut down greatly on the noise made by fast-moving air exiting the engine shearing against the external air. This GEnx engine, mounted on GE's 747 test aircraft, clearly shows the nacelle chevrons. Credit: GE Aviation
