Maybe Sis just figures that, since she’s an attorney in her thirties, she and her physician husband can drive what they desire and afford and dad can take global warming flying leap. I assuming that it was the oldest sister that picked him up, I could be wrong on that.

Jeez, I thought they wanted things made in the USA. Of course, they WANT us to be forced with cars the public would not want, but they don’t care they’ll buy IMPORTS (from Italy - Maserati and Japan - Prius).

That's ok, I didn't mean to sound harsh or anything like that. I have a friend who has a Volvo that gets 26 mpg averaging 110, and that was crossing over the continental divide. I was talking about automobiles, isn't the Prius a doorstop, or something like that? ; )

I think the advantage of a hybrid is in city driving, where the electric motor is more efficient than the four-stroke. Highway, it’s less than a wash, slightly worse.
