John Ziegler, drive home time talk show host on KFI in Los Angeles, is reporting that the story of the break up of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and his wife was reported June 8 on the air by Telemundo anchorwoman Mirthala Salinas.

You are going to love this. Salinas is the woman who was having the affair with him. They allowed her to keep covering (no pun intended) the mayor a year after they knew about the affair. I guess she left out part of the story.

And here is a doubleheader (no pun indended) of something else you'll love. Democrat Speaker of the California Assembly, Fabio Nunez, had also had an affair with Salinas.

You just can't make up this stuff.

Correct me if I am wrong...Didn’t Mayor Rudy G. have extramarital affairs?
I don’t think there is any “conservative” radio host out there pointing to that as the reason for not supporting him for Prez...
I do think that there are many who might not support Rudy because of that issue.

I don’t think anyone running against Mayor Villaraigoza will bring up this affair...I am sure that media will scold that person for not dealing with “issues” if that person ever dared to bring it up.

Walter Moore did indeed run for Mayor of LA in 2005. He was in favor of repealing rent control and L.A.'s Special Order 40, which makes the city a sanctuary for illegal aliens.

On March 9, 2007, Moore formally announced that he is running for Mayor again.
